All the documents of the Westminster Assembly are dramatically read in high quality form.
The “Westminster Assembly of Divines” receives its name from the church of Westminster Abbey situated in the western district of London. The Assembly utilized that church up until 1652, five years passed the time that they finished the Standards that they were appointed to set in order. The Westminster Standards (1647) is the best orthodox confession ever produced. Thoroughly Biblical, and thoroughly Calvinistic. Here you can listen to all the available Standards – the Confession, the Larger Catechism and the Shorter Catechism. The original text of 1646, from the manuscript of Cornelius Burges, Assessor to the Westminster Assembly, with the Assembly’s proof texts, as published in the modern critical edition of 1937 by S. W. Carruthers, is the version used.
This MP3 series allows you to have a high quality reading of the standards for your iPad, iPod, android, computer, or any mobile device.
