Run Pilgrim Run in Indie Pop
“Run Pilgrim Run – The Pilgrim’s Progress Part 1” is a 19-track concept album that brings John Bunyan’s timeless allegory to life through the distinctive voice of British artist Nico Cross. Set in an Indie Pop style, the album captures the key moments of Christian’s journey from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City, blending raw emotion, layered textures, and the theological weight of the original text.
Each song traces a critical step in the pilgrim’s path—burden, conviction, mercy, trial, hope, battle, and glory—anchored in the core truths of the Christian faith. With bold vocal delivery and a haunting sonic palette, this album bridges centuries of doctrine with modern sound.
This musical project is where sound, Scripture, and spiritual journey collide. See here for the album streaming online.
